Another day at Marks place, and yes there will be more vino for those that are still here after 4:30, and no you can't stay over or camp in the garden.
Now that we can all use our cameras, we need to get to grips with light. Together we will discover a few easy recipe’s when using natural light that guarantee sparkling results every time.
Light is everything in portraiture:
Skin reflects the quality of light shining on it, and so the quality of light we use will be the difference between the dull and muddy images we want to escape, and the vibrant crisp images we want!
More professional know how:
A technical vocabulary to describe light and its varying qualities. Understanding that quantity and quality of light are not related. Working in the open and why bright sunny days often give poor results. Backlighting, using the sun behind our subject. Using window light for fabulous results. Discovering that apparently dim light can give very vibrant results. Rules of thumb for easy success and much more besides.
