Running a location shoot - TBA

This is where it all comes together:

Above and beyond technical competence, we need the ability to put our subjects at ease, give them enough confidence to be themselves and thoroughly enjoy the shoot. This is an opportunity to see Mark in action and shoot your own portfolio over his shoulder.

A confident approach:

It's true to say that a photographer captures the rapport he has with his subject, and to a degree that is the foundation stone of personal style. A quiet self confidence will go a long way towards running a shoot comfortably, and with a basic technical competence, why shouldn’t we be quietly confident?

Its all in the preparation:

What we now need is a game plan, and together we will do a reccie on location to choose three places to work, and brain storm a few posing ideas. The premeditated approach will take a lot of pressure away, leave less to chance and put us in control. Our aim is to achieve at least forty quality portraits from the shoot.

In the director’s chair:

Testimonials:

"I just wanted to say thank you for a really eye opening day today. I am sure its pretty challenging to have a load of people looking over your shoulder, and then letting them see your RAW files-pretty gutsy. But seriously impressive stuff and invaluable for me to see that...so many thanks."

Paul Scott

"Just wanted to say thanks for a very relaxing course......I have some beautiful shots of Jessica, which are without exception the best portraits I have taken"
